Another weekend is here!

And we are wishing we had all the time to do all the things. So if you’re looking for something to do, a place to try out, or just curious how you could stalk us, these are some favorites and some adventures we want to take this weekend before the coming… snow storm?

So a quick rundown here would be waking up and heading to GIV Coffee. Giv is probably, no, it is surely the top roaster in the valley. And you can swing in and grab that soul warming sip of morning sunshine by stopping in between 8&3 on Saturday. We would stop there early to get the weekend rolling!

From there we need some fuel and would have a battle over where that fuel comes from.

Honestly though, right now I want to take an adventure to West Hartford Center for donuts after that coffee from GIV. And where would we go, well that’s sort of a no brainer because it’s Saturday and we want to go over the top. So Donut Crazy it would be!

After that, it’s adventure time. Is it a hike at Peoples State Forest? https://farmington-valley.beehiiv.com/p/peoples-state-forest or do we head to the shoreline and visit small towns like Chester (https://www.thewayfindersociety.com) , Essex, or maybe Mystic for some shopping and the aquarium? Maybe we ditch them all and get a bit retro with a visit to Roller Magic in Waterbury for some roller skating? https://www.ctrollermagic.com

What we do know is that we will want to make it back into the valley because we have a baby sitter and want to get to Tri-It Tap Room for some self service fun.

There is just so much to do all within a short drive from your house. From adventures to eats and drinks. There is plenty of fun to be had and we will be sharing some of our adventures soon!
