A First and Dare We Say Annual Holiday Market Supporting Locals

At the Home Place CT!

220 Albany Tpke , Canton, CT, United States, Connecticut

The countdown is officially on—only one more sleep until their first ever Holiday Artisans Market at The Home Place. And trust us… this is one you’ll want to wake up early for, start with some coffee from GIV or a breakfast sammy at Little Oak Cafe, then head on over!

This Saturday, in a cozy corner of the valley, will be a transformation happening turning the day into a vibrant celebration of local creativity, craftsmanship, and community, as The Home Place CT. welcomes five extraordinary women artists and makers whose work embodies the spirit of the season. (not to mention all of their own gifts and goodies!

A Pure Experience at the Dane Good Pure Bar

Kicking off with something truly special, from someone local to the valley creating magical products for years.
Their very own Kelly—owner, creator, influencer, and the heartbeat behind @danegoodllc—will be offering an exclusive demonstration of her Dane Pure Skincare line. If you’ve ever wanted to experience the magic of clean, intentional skincare made right here in our community, her pure bar is the place to be.

🍞 The Return of a Local Legend

We at The Farmington Valley can barely contain our excitement because the shop will once again smell like fresh, warm heaven…
Yes—@kenmontbreadandblooms is back!
She’s bringing her to die for sourdough mini loaves and specialty baked treats that sell out faster than you can say “save me one.” Pro tip: arrive before noon if you want the best selection.

👒 The Hat You’ll Never Want to Take Off

Next up: the incomparable @hollowterritoryhatco.
Morgan isn’t just a hat designer—she’s the hat designer. Her custom creations have made their way onto celebrities, major brands, and even the head of a bride on a cliff in Ireland… who then had a line of Irishwomen chasing her down for Morgan’s card.
If you know, you know: there’s no other local hat maker like her.

🎨 Welcoming a New Face to THP

The shop is so excited to welcome the wildly talented @bellaglassdesign to her first Home Place event.
Erin’s glasswork is everything at once—fun, funky, ethereal, elegant, spirited, festive, and always, always unique. She’s a beloved figure in the Canton/Collinsville art scene, and we can’t wait for you to experience her pieces up close.

🌙 Honoring Craft + Service

Last but certainly not least, they will have a special guest and have the honor of hosting Tracy O. of Full Moon Wood Carving—a veteran, a nurse, and an extraordinary artisan whose hands transform found wood into handcrafted spoons, tools, and heirloom-worthy kitchen treasures.
Her work is quietly powerful, full of soul, and a beautiful reminder to honor the veterans in our community this week and every week.

So if you’re looking for a stop so you can shop and support local.

This market is more than an event—it’s a gathering of heart, talent, creativity, and local love. Whether you’re shopping for meaningful gifts, supporting local artists, or simply soaking in the holiday spirit, THP will be the place to be.

Bundle up. Bring a friend. Go hungry.
And get ready to experience the magic.
